Can anyone help me my serial# starts wit BEB it’s a 17 and is a one pin gun no light rail.
Another Glock in the list with a BEB serial number prefix was dated by Glock to January 1995.
Thank you so much for your help!!!
I have a gen 1 g17 AP 768 US (LTH).
Should post this here as well as the AA thread...
I have so much to do but when Glock collecting comes up I can't help myself but to take a few minutes to catch up on it....
Here is some more info on early guns:
All Gen 1 17s except where noted:
AA8xx CTF (10/84)
AB1xx LTF (2/84)
AB NTF (3/84)
AC0xx NTF (3/84)
AD4xx NTF (3/84)
AD7xx NTF (3/84)
AG ATF (12/84)
AH0xx BTM (4/85)
AV ETH (1/86)
BH ETT (1/88)
Gen 2 G20 BSE SDH
Interesting to note that the AB guns have the earliest dated codes, followed by the AC and then the first US import AF.
They are all withing months of each other in '84 but its interesting to see which have the earliest date codes vs the SN prefixes.
I can fill in many of the blanks for US Gen 1 17s, 17 L, 17 LP, etc. I'll go into the vault this weekend and will post the info.
Very interesting indeed!! All the less Gen 1s
Here's mine: Gen 1 G17, AH350US, BTM, Import Date 21Feb1986, "Pencil" Barrel. I purchased it new in 1986.
Nice!!! Can u post pics? Awesome!!!
OK, I have 2 Gen 3 Blue Labels G19's One actively carried the other test fired only.
FNB 565 and FNB 591 That would be June 2003, correct?
This number prefix does not show up on the list previously displayed.
So I saw that HE is for G17.2 but mine is HFxxx US with two NPv stamps. I was told it was a G17.1 but I guess they may have been confused. Bought it a couple days ago. I don’t want to say for how much just yet. Let me know!
Edit: Also it doesn’t have the original barrel
Just talked to Ed at Glock Inc. this am so will add the SN/Date for my G19C Gen 2 to the list.
CHW9**US imported to the US on 15 JUL 1997.
I'm new to these parts and new to Glock ownership. Just trying to decipher the markings on my Gen 3 G22.
The frame, barrel and slide all have BFAX***. So far I haven't found the BFAX prefix anywhere.
On the top of the barrel is .40 followed by "3D" in a circle. Got the .40 part, but the "3D" has me stumped. Below that is the Glock logo followed by "AT". The quotation marks are mine.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks for your wisdom!!!
Hi Amanda, welcome to GT! BFAXxxx is a fairly recent issue GLOCK serial number. I have a gen4 G19 FS with serial BFEWxxx from mid 2017. I would estimate your gen3 G22 to be around first half 2017. The AT stands for Austria (so your G22 is made in Austria). The circled 3D has to do with the barrel metallurgy composition (I think). Enjoy your G22!
I just got a police trade in G17 gen 4 and first 4 BAGS***. Anyone tell me when it was made?
I have a 17 with serial number that starts with ANW. What does that decode too? I didn’t see N on the decode.
I just picked up Police turn in from Kentucky State police and the serial number is: 51407KSP. I know what the KSP stands for but curious about the manufacturer date.
Gen 2 G20. BNS025
Glock 17 GEN 2 AZG763 ..JULY 1994 BLACK INTERNALS DETROIT PD TRADE IN ,NO DPD ON SLIDE
Glock 19 Gen 2. Its BPxxx so must be 1988 right? Can anyone give insights on the other watermarks after BPA996?
