Tell me what you guys think about this quick video I made earlier. Most of the vids I see have you taking all the goodies out of the gun when it's not really necessary, so I decided to give my input... :tongueout:

Edit: Is there a way to insert the vid itself?

Don't need the knife. Same allen/hex key does the job... :)

There is a hole on the opposite side of the trigger housing to put your allen wrench or Glock tool into to push out the connector.

Interesting. I've never tried to remove the trigger housing while the trigger is still pinned in place. It is different also, in that you have a decent camera.

    thanks guys.

yea, bentbiker, pop that back pin and the rear should lift right out. if your gun is pretty dirty, you ay have to ask just a little it as the dirt crams in between the frame and the assembly.

don't jam it up too hard and don't pivot it around too hard, you can feel the looseness and where the play ends. i wouldn't 'abuse' it so as not to put much stress on the bar. but, it's a 90 second approach, very simple.

yea, no prob. i do to, just wanted to apply some GT input.

i thought music (or something) would be inevitable... moments prior to hitting record, i had two kids running around the room with the wife chasing... i had to order them all out... my first take i was nearly done, installing the slide and my girl comes flying in screaming just as i was sliding the slide on and it slipped and shot off across the camera... i laughed for a minute and almost thought of using it but with the web, no way I'd live that down

    just my opinion:
    1) don't like prying the connector out, should have pushed it out, as a previous poster alluded to.
    2) although Glock doesn't teach this technique, it seemed to work.
    3) seems as if you could bend the trigger bar (but not likely)

In summary, I'll keep the reco'd method for maint that Glock prescribes.

    Is that a G36?

    Regards

it's a G26. a local armorer who has a shop working on glocks, does a lot of gssf stuff and is pretty involved showed me that way quite a while ago. said he has done 1000s that way if not more.... i don't feel it's hurting anythig in regards to the trigger bar, or connector as I put the pressure on the end tab not in the middle as to bend it.
