Can anybody recommend a good quality YouTube video for cleaning & oiling a Glock. I have seen several but, usually the lighting is not the best and it's hard to see exactly what is being referenced. I would love to see a Glock cleaning & oiling, that is done properly, with good lighting. Thanks again guys n gals, for all your help.....

Lubricating:
JamesYeager - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGobEpUO3Uc (particularly 3:25 into the video)
R6AJ - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPEA_J0fM2I (this is pretty much how I do it, video is flipped like looking in a mirror)

I don't lubricate the spot where the trigger bar and connector interface as much as I used to. I used to do it every time I cleaned and lubricated the gun, but I found out I was doing it way too often when I started getting oil on the top rear of my magazines. I detail stripped and the entire trigger housing was swimming with oil. I now only lubricate that spot once every 200-300 rounds with a TINY drop of oil.

Don't over think it.

Hit it with some gun solvent or CLP
Scrub with a toothbrush style cleaning brush
Bore snake or bronze brush down the bore
Wipe down and hit tight spots with Q-tips
Lightly lube contact points

It is a Glock not a precision machine. They were made to be low maintenance. You don't need multiple solvents and lubricants just a good combo like CLP or one solvent and one lube.

Although I don't personally use the cleaning and lubrication products and techniques featured in these two videos, the following YouTube videos are good production quality and thorough (edit: already noted above by voyager4520):

Pistol Cleaning by Nutnfancy: The Glock Example

Proper Lubrication of a Glock Pistol (#2)

I follow the methods and use the products demonstrated by Hickok45 in the two videos below to clean and lubricate a Glock pistol now, with some minor modifications**

Glock Cleaning Basics

Glock Cleaning 2 (Slide Disassembly)

Incidentally, Hickok45 verified in a PM that he uses commonly available rubbing alcohol, 90-95% by volume isopropyl alcohol for cleaning (not the 70% stuff).

** I use a Hoppe's BoreSnake Viper to swab the pistol bore rather than a cleaning rod with patches. The rubbing alcohol I stock is 99% by volume isopropyl alcohol. I use tight-fiber, pointed tip swabs along with common Q-tip cotton swabs.
