    JR,

Thanks for your help on this forum, we all appreciate it!

    Here is my question:

I bought a used Glock, and upon closer inspection of the barrel, I noticed small faint scratches on the bore. It seems as if the previous owner used some kind of abrasive metal brush for cleaning. Is my Glock barrel now compromised for rust? Thanks!

No worries. Shoot it until it bleeds.... Even that wont hurt it!
BTW: I have a Glock G19 barrel we shot with a .22 rifle and dented it. Then we put it back in the gun and shot it at a LE qualifier. No problem!
