    Hello all.

Anyone here know of a site or listing for Glock Armorer(s) or at least certified dealers in Michigan? Glockmister has one listed but he’s about 150 miles from me.

    Help?

    Errick

    I’m a GA, but in the Mid-Michigan (between Flint & Saginaw) area…

I may be able to help you right over the phone (as Quack is referring to, GLOCKs are VERY easy to work on yourself)… shoot me an e-mail &/or “PM”.

    Knowledge is a wonderful thing.

Looking for a specialist in the area of Glock firearms does not necessary mean wanting to find out how to field strip or detail strip a weapon.

“Assumption is the mother of all F******” Quoted from the movie Under Siege 2: Dark Territory.

    :)

I’m fairly good at Internet searches and was looking for information not found on the web.

    Errick,

You still haven't stated what you are looking for.

Looking for information 'not found on the web', by definition, precludes anything you would find here, on this web forum, no? That aside...

It looks to me like the other poster was attempting to convey a message of 'how easy these things are to work on' and another was offering to help you via private email. Do you think your response was appropriate to these offerings of help?

    Randy

OK sorry, I'm having a bad day. I did received a private reply from Michigun that answered my questions.

The answers were not on this forum, nor on the web in general, for the following.

I was looking for a Michigan source for...

First, I'm looking for a good local source to purchase a Glock 30.

Second, a reliable place to have night sights installed.

Third, a place to have repairs done or at least a supply of parts.

If need be I'll do a purchase via the internet through a dealer with reasonable transfer charges.

The limited number of local dealers I've contacted in person or by phone have absurd prices for this weapon, and don't seem to know the product.

I did not want info on detail stripping a Glock, I did not ask that question at all.

I simply wanted to contact a Glock Armorer in Michigan other than the one listed at Glockmister.

I apparently took the comment of finding the info to detail strip a Glock as a slam and not as trying to be helpful.

    Sorry if I offended anyone…
