Should not happen at a GSSF match because you are not allowed to holster or carry a loaded pistol.

Sounds like someone trying to have their 15 minutes of fame, if a shirt was bunched up enough to go into the trigger guard then it would probably be bunched up enough to block the holster, wouldn't it????? Of course, if the firearm was holstered and the shirt had double triple extra heavy duty starch then, NOT.;L ;L ;L ;6 ;6 ;6 ^2 ^2 ^2 ^3 Another urban legend bites the blacktop;0 ;0 ;0

That would be a NEGLEGENT discharge, because the guy was a SLOB, or was carryin' without a holster. Either of which is neglegence, not an accident.

I suppose a pen could fall at just the right time, angle, etc. and lodge itself in the trigger guard and cause an ND, as well. ;Q

    Never underestimate the depth of natural stupidity . . . ;P ;f

It is extremely unlikely that this could happen...but nevertheless, it is a good practice to SLOWLY and CAREFULLY reholster a loaded pistol. You may just be stressed out enough to have forgotten that your finger is still inside the trigger guard ;P.

Besides, no one ever won a match or a fight by being the fastest back into the holster! (Pardon the cliche')
