Duh, when you want the best, you go Italian.

"Babe do you want lasagna or pho for dinner? Lasagna, duh."

"Should I get the Gucci or the Calvin Klien. Gucci, duh."

"Hmmm the Beretta or maybe that nice Taurus. Beretta, duh."

I've handled dozens, I've never noticed a metal mag catch and I own one.

That was not up at the very beginning. They put the combo up a couple of hours or so after they launched the pre-sale.

I bought 3 mags and a mag catch all separately because the combo was not there. I emailed them about it to see if I could get the combo deal and save some cash and I have heard nothing back from them. In fact, I left a message on their Facebook page asking the same question and my comment was deleted.

I’m almost ready to cancel my order because of this.

My stock 2.0 9mm compact has a steel magazine release. As far as I know, this was an upgrade for the 2.0 series.

I sell them, and have never seen that. Unless they are polymer coated metal, it’s an aftermarket upgrade.

It’s not even listed in the 2.0 upgrades on the S&W website.

    I also emailed them; nothing.

By way of comparison, I emailed Surefire about the torn rubber tailcap cover on my Backup around the same time. Disclosed that I’ve carried it for 7 years. New tailcap is coming in the mail. That’s what I call customer service.

Hope not! But I think you guys got scammed. Pre-order - bull-sheeeet.
Show me the mag and I'll show you the money. Sure hope I'm wrong. :flag:

No product - no problem reversing the charges if you use your credit card. They shouldn’t charge the card until they ship. I’m staying optimistic :innocent:

Well if these mags dont actually work out that's fine. I'll cut a slot in my 15 round cz po7 mags and use them. They worked fine at the range holding the mag in the gun during my last range trip.

I hope they work well and the company is stand up. I just bought a G48 and really love it. Considered doing the preorder, but that's a lot for a mag with no reliability history by a company that has shown very poor communication to their customers this summer after hyping this mag all up. So decided I would wait and see how these work out.

These mags are the only reason I didn't get rid of my 48 yet. Otherwise 365xl would be replacing it. I do hope they work well.

Even in the pictures attached to that article show a polymer mag release. I'll take mine apart and see for myself but I find it odd S&W doesn't even mention that. Like I said earlier, maybe polymer coated steel, but I have never seen any model that had a straight metal mag release not handled one and had the mag release feel like anything but a normal polymer part.

Well that's that. If s&w can handle metal mags and poly mag cacth surely a glock can.
