i have a glock 45. How long will it last ? Trustworthy ?
For years of fun.. Yes very trustworthy..
It will very likely outlast you. I say that very literally. We use Glock 21's at work, Gen 3 and some of our training 21's have 300K rounds through them. Your G45, properly maintained (which is easy to do) will in all probability be passed down to your kids and perhaps even their kids.
We use Riggs Universal Gun Grease on the rails and any type oil on the rest of the pistol.
What an exciting new thread! G45 pistols made before 1898 are definitely prone to very serious problems and should NEVER be trusted.
Welcome to Glock Talk.
As was said, it will last you a LONG, LOOOONG time.
You have a very reliable, well built pistol for Self & Home Defense, & for just about any type of shooting sport.
Congratulations and welcome.
Glock love you looooong time!
G45 is the best Glock so far. How long will it last? Depends on a lot of factors, but nobody knows for sure how long polymer frames will last reaching a point of useless degradation. Under normal circumstances, It'll probably outlast me.
haha was reply the same
Welcome to GlockTalk
I don't know how long mine will last, but on Saturday I bought it a twin as backup because I like it that much.
I believe it's Ruv U Long Time. But I'm also wrong a lot.
Spend any time in the Far East?
Nope, but most of my buddies did. I spent my tour stateside.
I have a G45MOS and G45 as a backup...
Loving my 45.
Unless the anti-gunners invent a genetically modified organism that feeds on polymers, it will last a loooooong time.
Are you saying you have a Glock that is a 9mm Gen 5 G45 or are you saying you have a Glock chambered in 45 ACP?
