Here are the photos the system gave me trouble with.
The barrel wasn’t changed so it matches the frame.Replaced slide? So now your frame and slide Serials don't match obviously, did you check?
I don’t own a G44, so I’m curious, does GLOCK not put a serial number on the slide under the ejection port on the G44 like it does on the rest of its guns? Perhaps it’s a blank slide that only gets a serial number when paired with a new frame. I’d rather it be blank if it was just a replacement. Keep the work order in case you ever decide to sell it as proof it’s an OEM part. The barrel wasn’t changed so it matches the frame.
I didn’t see a serial number on the slide. Only a part number.
Honestly, it wouldn’t bother me. I don’t buy guns as collectibles or to resell them.
Or they took a new blank slide and added your SN?Okay, this is odd. The “new” slide has the correct serial number and matches the frame and barrel yet the plastic portion and the metal look brand new. The plastic has no wear marks. Perhaps the metal portion was ultrasonically cleaned as it’s pristine with no wear. The gun had 2000 rounds through it when I shipped it.
I guess it really doesn’t matter. It seems to run like a champ now and that’s what really matters.
Thanks for your post.
The mini mag 40 grains work well though accuracy is okay, not great. 3 - 4” groups at 10 yards and there’s always a flyer or two. Thanks for your post.
Which type of Mini-Mag (36 grain JHP or 40 grain RN) did you shoot through it?
This particular comment indicates to me that it still gave you problems after Glock warrantied it. However, a later post said that you're satisfied with it. Please clarify.
Thanks again.
One of the main reasons I bought the G44 were all the glowing reviews of their reliability. I believe mine was more of an oddity or an anomaly. Glad yours runs great. 😎Glad you got yours working. Mine ran well out of the box, so I consider myself lucky.
