Good choice. I have a silver 43x and a silver and black 48. I use the Shield 15 mags and metal mag release in the 43x. Use the Glock 10 rounders in my 48’s. On the range the 48 is easier to shoot than the 43x. The extra barrel length makes a difference. I have an IWB holster that will carry the 43x and 48. I cannot tell any weight or size difference I can notice when carrying either one. Both guns are keepers!

I own a P365, two G43’s, and a 43x...the easiest to carry is the 43. That said I believe a 48 is in my future.

Yeah obviously the shorter grips are easier to conceal. I had 3 different mags with my walther and I never used the 6 round because I didn’t like the grip. The 7 round is same height as the 43x. If I find it hard to conceal in summer i guess I just have to get another smaller gun... oh darn!

What brand of G43 magazine extension is shown in this photo?

Welcome to the 43X club! I'm torn between my G26 and my 43X as my CCW.

I bought it used with the Ameriglo night sights installed. I have an extra pair because I replaced the factory night sights on my Glock 45 (they are perfect for carry but a bit thick for my taste for competition) use so let me know if you need them.

The 43x is a very cool little shooter. I have one myself. I do like the G48's better "for me," they balance better and I have just a 'tad' more sight plane. That being said, for decades we have been shooting very long range with all manner of calibers and platforms out here out to 600yds.

The short barreled guns do fine even at 300yds. (my personal limit ha). I just simply like the balance better on the G48.

The G43X is very accurate as well, and carries very well. I have two 48's and one 43X. I do use Shield Arms S15 15rd mags, with SA all Steel mag catch. Flawless performance and never one issue.

I think you will be very pleased with the 43X and appreciate how light it is, and how quick it is to draw.

I have beat this pic to death but, I like posting it! ;)

    *** EDIT NOTE*** I gave $448.00 a piece for al 3 of my 48's and 43X.
We always drive in to the big Dallas gun shows. Only place I buy my Guns. Most all places even other than GS, has still been 448.00. Good luck.
