There's a little buzz starting in the competition circles that the Glock 43 will be a full size, long slide .22LR.

Anyone else starting to hear any buzz on it?

This is the first buzz I've caught on it.

I'm still holding out hope that if Glock releases a 22LR, then they'll call it the Glock 40.

So whenever someone asks for a Glock 22, they'll get a 40 cal and if they ask for a Glock 40, they'll get a 22LR.

A full size long slide 22 instead of the single stack 9 that everyone seems to be begging for? They may as well call it the FU model. If true I can't think of a single legit use for one at all. I mean what are they thinking? I seriously hate glock...................

Now when can I order one because let's face it I would buy a glock blender :)

I wouldn't be disappointed to see a .22 Glock. The conversions for them are way too expensive to justify the cost.

Yeah, maybe then, that guy in the video would be professional enough to handle a Glock 40.

Doesn't matter, because they don't make .22 LR ammo anymore.

    Maybe .22 GAP?

I couldn't believe the kid behind the counter at the Glock booth at SHOT was telling it to everyone.

Regardless if this is an old GT joke or not, I would find this hard to believe.

With the .22 ammo situation, right now it would not be in Glock`s best interest to come out with a .22.

    However

There is something in the works.

If I could pick what I want in a .22 Glock, I'd want it to be the size of a G19.

Were these sources close to predicting the .380 Glock before it came out?

There was no talk regarding a .380, so the answer would be no.

But they were spot on with the long slide .45acp. Not which model designation it would be, but that a long slide .45acp with a reduced mass slide was indeed in the pipeline.

I thought the glock 43 was going to be the carbine which will be released in time for Christmas, and in FDE, and OD after the holidays. It will similarly match an ar 15 with Magpul Parts, but the parts will be made of glock plastic and feature Glock logos. The grip will be a reworked glock lower, with a mag catch. It will be chamber in 9X19 with .40 cal soon to follow.
