Ever wondered why it is sloped like that? Seems to me it would unlock easier/faster than how every other Glock has been designed because the barrel is being pushed back and is connected to the slide in front of the ejection port during the recoil operation. Makes me wonder if it had the more normal Glock slope on the barrel hood if it wouldn’t change the recoil characteristics of the pistol....possibly for the better. I’m not Glock engineer material, but I’m sure there is a good reason it differs from every other Glock barrel. Anybody know what it is?
