After buying a Glock 43, I undertook sighting it in soon as I could get to my range. I found that my POI versus POA was about 1.5" low, with most ammo. So I replaced the 6.1 rear sight that comes on it with the Glock 6.5 height , made for the 9mm compact series . Aiming at 6 o'clock on a 3" target dot , I,m getting a center hit . Target shown has 2 hits in center and 3 around making a 1'' group. Ammo was WW Box 115 FMJ. BTW , you will have to shave a slight amount of each side of the poly sight to make it look like it fits , since the 6.5 mm sight is slightly wider to fit 19 & 23 size slide width dovetail. IMG_2802_1_1.JPG Distance was 32 ' and off a plastic pipe rest under wrist .

Very, very nice. Never tried that much of precision shooting with my Glocks.

They all will hit 8" plates at 39 feet though, even my 42 ;-)

With the right ammo, a G43 can be very accurate. At the spring GT shoot, I shot a lot of high end guns, but my best group of the day was with my 43, go figure.

Mine does have Trijicon HD sights on it. However, after this weekend, I'm considering something else.

    Nice shooting.

My Glock 43 shoots great, even better than I expected when I bought it. Until that time I considered my Kahr P9 to be the champ of single stacks that I had ever shot. The G43 is almost as good. I put TFO sights on mine, it shoots POA/POI and I carry it in a Stealthgear AWIB or DeSantis OWB holster, depending on the situation.

The Glock 43 has become my favorite Glock. Really fond of this little gun.

I enjoy accuracy like that, with mine. And I shoot it every bit as accurately as I do my 30S, if not a little more so.

I was very surprised how accurate my 43 is. Much more than the 26 I had.

    That is very nice.
43 is my first Glock and I'm nowhere near as accurate as with my M&P 9C.
I'm always a little to the left and high. I was starting to wonder if maybe there's something wrong with it but I'm sure it's me :D
Time to put some more ammo through it this weekend.

    If
If you need convincing allow an experienced Glock shooter to shoot a couple of groups with your gun.

Question for everyone; At 5 yards my new 43 shoots 2 1/2 inches low to the left with all ammo I've tried. Ok, we have moved the rear sight all the way to the right, the sight is actually even off of the slide around 1/64 of and inch to get that close to vertical alignment with the target in bullet placement. I realize I can get the taller rear sight to fix my elevation problem.
Now the "real" problem; as I move the target out to 25 yards, this thing becomes "stupid" inaccurate. I mean at 25 yards it won't hit the paper! I thought it was just me but I had my wife shoot it as well as a guy that works at the LGS, and both had the same results. The guys that all work at the LGS just kind of said, "Yeah, that's that short sight radius, mine does the same."
But I read how much luck you all are having and I'm disappointed in mine.
This is supposed to be my CCW, but I'm afraid of collateral damage if I had to use it. This is honestly the most inaccurate gun I've ever had, in fact it's running close to my NAA 22lr revolver.
    Anyone have any ideas?
Oh by the way, I paid $75 extra for it because it is the total flat dark earth. So I really feel crappy. Could that be a problem? Build up in some area?

If it is shooting to the left, you need to move the rear sight to the right.

My 43 is also very accurate for a little gun. 20 feet off hand. Love it! IMG_0622.JPG

Well, this was 6 months ago. Trouble I had, it was dress up time, i.e. Suit and tie. I was carrying in a smart carry. I found the sharp corners could be a potential issue drawing from such an "alternate carry" scenario. Great sights as far as sight picture, but OBNOXIOUSLY sharp corners. :(

Ameriglo sights and an Apex trigger and that just makes for a more comfortable feel. It has a 5lb trigger pull. Plus I shoot it once a week, The rest of the stuff is to make it look pretty plus it is easy to do press checks now.
