I finally shot my glock 42 today. I had purchased a couple of months back and have not taken the time to take it to the range. I also had my Sig 238 with me so it was a brief side by side comparison. The 42 was soft shooting as is the 238. The 42 is bigger but lighter, stuff we all know. So I moved on to putting the 42 through some shooting. I was shooting steel at 7 yards I varied shoot timing from slow steady fire to fast magazine dump. Ran double taps, triple taps. 200 rounds of PMC Bronze 90 grain 380. Not a single failure to fire or failure to feed. Not one stove pipe or brass to the face. Nothing nada, no malfunctions of any kind. So I switched to Hornady XTP 90 grain hollow point. 50 rounds through the 42 same results. No malfunctions. All in all I think it is gong to be a good addition for a carry gun, as soon as find a decent left handed holster.
