Need a little advice here. I was loading some MagTech 77gr SCHP for my wife's 42 and couldn't find any direct load data. I used the data for Barnes 80gr Tac-Xp. Barnes recommended 3.7gr of CFE-P (for 1086 FPS) so I double checked and found Hogdon listing 4.0gr for a 100gr FMJ and decided to start there. Made the mistake of loading 25 before testing the first five. We they won't cycle the slide and chrono at 760 FPS! How could they be this far off? I went back and checked the powder dropper and it was 4.0 gr. Not sure what happened, what are your thoughts?

This belongs over in the Reloading Forum. Perhaps the mods will move.
