Has anyone compared the weight of a Glock 21 slide to a Glock 37 slide? or even the Glock 30 slide?
    Just wondering.
I am hoping the 38 is a compact GAP. Then my 23 can get a big brother ;)

I have read this info, but forgot the "exact" numbers, but, at first glance it looks like a G21 slide, it is the same width as the frame, and is [about] 3mm shorter, and [about]3 oz. lighter. The front of the slide is beveled simular to the G 21.

At a recent armorors school, the instructor did indeed say that the 38 will be the compact version of the 37 and is coming out.

Though I've never been a big fan of Glock's full size offerings, I bought a 37 yesterday. IMO a GAP with frame dimensions matching the G19/G23 with a nine or even eight round capacity would be spectacular. This is the pistol that will put the GAP round on the map. Lets see what they do...
