    Hey guys,

I am thinking my next Glock will be a 37 Gen 4. I am just wondering what you Gappers(lol) think of the firearm compared to other Glock models.

    Thanks!

My favorite Glock is my G38. I like my G37, too. 45 in a 9mm frame. I'd like to see Glock come out with a GAP in 34/35 configuration.

Do everything gun. I own a 17 and 21. I carry the 17 as I will carry the 37. I am not a big fan of the compact model Glock's. I'd eventually get a G39 for the days I want to carry something smaller.

I like mine, but don't normally carry the full-size frame models. However, for the week that I did carry it recently, it was surprisingly not as big as I thought it was.

I don't have any other GAP models (yet...waiting on Gen4 updates) to compare to, but the G37 is a nice, slim .45 for sure. Compared to my other Glock .45 models, it actually feels like a 9/40/357 sized pistol.

Here was the setup I carried during the week when there was a lot of GAP-bashing. I toted it along for the first time in support of an excellent round and an excellent pistol.

If you reload, it's just as easy as loading .45 ACP. If you don't, I've found that commercial practice ammo is available for about $20.99/box in my area.

The Glock 37 is an awesome gun but it has a love hate relationship on this site. I like the gun a lot. I prefer the G38 because of how it fits my hand better than the G37. Shop around for the ammo. One gun shop I went to had it almost double the price of what I got it for online.

I like my G38 best, but my G37 is close behind. Both great guns.

Haven't shot a Gen4, but like my gen 3, love my G38. 37 gets nightstand duty now and then due to having nightsites. Don't listen to everyone bashing them , ammo is not an issue to find online, price is same or cheaper than acp.

Good idea. I carry a 39 and sometimes a 38 daily. If I had a 37 as my only gun I could conceal it w/o much of a problem, but the other two are such soft shooters, accurate and so easy to conceal I am "smitten" with them.

I have A G37 I bought used, SN indicates early production.
It works fine, no complaints, but so does my G30 and .45 ACP ammo is in every gun shop and Walmart around here but .45 GAP isn't.

If you can conceal a full size without any problems, the Gen4 G37 is LIGHTS OUT the baddest GAP of the three. Love my others (38 & 39), but having a Gen 4 in the family is fantastic.
Buy and use with confidence. I added Talon grips to each of mine for about $11 each.

    I wouldn't trade my G19 or G26.

The G37 is what I carried when I did bodyguard work. Smooth shooting gun and significantly easier on the ears than a G31, in case you have to shoot it indoors.

Gotta ask a question here. Is the gen 4 full size GAP the same grip circumference as the gen 4 17, or does it just FEEL like one. Anyone here have both guns?
I ask because I'm in search for a dedicated large bore night stand gun, and it has to be able to to be manipulated by my wife. She shoots my 17 gen 4 great, so this is why I'm looking at one.

The G17 and G37 share the exact same frame. Only difference is the ejector and slide stop lever.

I liked my G37 a lot, my G38 even more so. I could not find ammo where I lived and they were pushing a ban on internet sales so I sold them. If ammo is available go for it.
