Anyone here have gen4 G37? I've seen pics online so I'm assuming they're out...

I love my gen4 G22 so I was thinking I'd love a .45 in the same package. I find G21 is a bit large in general even the SF model. I know the 37 uses the 17/22 frame, but is the slide same width too or is it as fat as the G21?

btw I reload so ammo (.45GAP) availability wouldn't be a problem

No clue for Gen4 37 but Gen 3 is larger slide that 9/40/357 models.

I have one...the slide is definitely wider than a 9/40/357 model. I load 185 XTP for this, and got brass from LEO brass. I also use Starline for new load development, too.

These guys use SPP, by the way. I've had good results from CCI.

Thanks, that's pretty neat. Never cared for the GAP round before but I like the idea of a modern size efficient .45 plus I'd rather have a smaller frame over the G21 frame.

The slide is wider but only as wide as the widest part of the frame. The GAPs also come factory with the extended slide release.

.45GAP also uses small primers, which if IRC the .40 s&w does too(?).

My favorite one: Comp-Tac MTAC. I like them because they don't squeak when moving around and also because the kydex shell is swappable for other models. Customer Service is first class, also.
