I recently picked up a Glock 36, and I must say that I like it a LOT!

I want to put nightsights on it (Specificaly Meprolights), and I've noticed that a lot of sights say "Not for the Glock 36".

I measured the stock sights on my G36 against some other stock Glock sights that I have from a G21, and they are the same width and height. Can I just order sights for a Glock 10mm/45acp?

    Thanks.

The G36 requires, as I recall, a shorter screw for the front sight.

To answer your question, yes. But you'll have to do a bit of modifying...

Turn around time for this query was under 5-minutes...

"Which Meprolight sight set fits the Glock 36?"

Any of the ones for a .45 Glock will. However, the hex screw has to be filed down some to allow barrel clearence. You would do the filing on the flat part.

    Trijicon offers G36-specific sights...

AmeriGlo also offers sights for the G36:

RayB - Thanks. I made a few calls today, and that was the information I was given as well. But it's nice to have gotten that from a few different sources.

Now I just wait for the new sights to come in! They should be here this weekend.

LOL! I just noticed that yesterday Carver- the fact that they accidentally put "accept" instead of "except".

10088 Trijicon Night Sight Set (Front and Rear both green) with Sapphire Lens (standard size for G36) $89.95

and the ones i likely ordered are not the novak style.. thats what i get for ordering at 3am?

-edit, added: I just called topglock as i wanted to verify the order, and have not received my email with order info.. I found a few items were on back order and i was 'in line' for them, and it sounded a mess, so the entire order was cancelled... grr.

Yeah I'm of the feeling they need to be specifically for 36. Heinies are, and some trijicon Non novak style say specifically for 36. Probably go with some of those, if I can get past TFO's. So tempting, cause I love FO, but apparently their night brightness leaves much to be desired.
