I am about to purchase a glock 36 with glock night sights. I know the front sights are not screw on but I have an extra set of trijicon night sets for the glock 30. Do you know if the trijicon front night sight will fit on the glock 36?
    Thank you.

    No, probably won't.

The G36 uses the same size front sight as the smaller framed Glocks, but it needs a thinner head on the screw holding it in place.

Is it the pin on factory style night sights or the screw on ones?

Another possiblity is that whatever brand of night sights you have use the thinner screw head for all their Glock night sights. That's what XS told me they do with their 34/7 night sights.

I know ameriglo uses special front screws for the 36's or the barrel doesnt fit right. Then again its got a trijicon stamp on it too.Whatever, when in doubt call the manufacturer.

MuRDoC U have a thing for copperheads?

I installed a set of trijicons that listed all but large frame models and specifically stated not for a 36. I installed them anyway and after 5000 rounds still work great. They were 2 years old but new and the shop sold them for $60 for the pair. I figured if they didn't work I'd put them on something else but they're fine.

Had the same problem a few yrs. back with own 36. Trijicon sent the correct front sight screw for their sight on "good Faith". Great Cust. Service......

The screw caused no interference on my 36.
