I am trying to find a plain black rear sight with a fiber optic front for my G35. I have heard that some front FO sights will hang over the cutout on the front of the slide and cause the life of the sights to decrease significantly. Any help on a good set up would be great.

Warren tactical FO and Dawson's FO don't hang over the 34/35 cutout. They both can be purchased with plain black rears.

    EPIZZA,
Thanks for the information. Do you have any experience with either of these sights? Which would you recommend for durability? Thanks

I've used the .225 Dawson front with a Heine rear. The dawson sight is steel, solid. Don't forget some loctite when you install.

This combo shot a little high for me on my 35. Dawson sent me a custon .245 high front to correct this, but they closed my shooting area do to high fire danger so I haven't tested it again.
