I've just gotten a Glock 34 to shoot IDPA with it.
It makes a rather annoying squeaking noise when racking it. Took it apart and is clear that the recoil spring is touching the barrel and leaving marks in it.
Called Glock and was told that is a pretty common issue.
Anybody out there experienced the same? Does it affect performance?
    Solutions?
    Cheers,

    Julio

By the way, got a Comp-Tac paddle holster with tabs.
    Great holster indeed !!!

I have a G35 that does the same thing with many of rounds through the tube, it affects nothing and when you shoot it you don't even notice it. I guess that you could use a aftermarket guide rod and a different spring setup if it annoys you.

Gun oil on the outside of the barrel (all the way around) will get rid of that squeak.

Mine did that too. I didn't pay attention to when, but it does go away.

Lubricate the barrel, as JVMHGF posted. Note also that changing the guide rod to non-stock will make the G34 illegal in IDPA SSP.
