    guys,

I'm sure this question has been asked before and I'm hoping to get some honest opinions about triggers and sights for competitive shooting. I just started shooting some steel matches in my area in Vegas. I was using an HK VP9 and was not happy with the way it performed so I picked up a Glock 34. After purchasing the gun I picked up a Kiniti-Tech Trigger Setup and Ameri-Glo / Trigicon ghost ring sights. Is this a good platform that will give me accurate shots or should I be looking at different sights?

not familiar with your sights, but i have warren/sevigny competition's on all my glocks. wide rear notch and fiber optic front, gives quick target acquisition.

It took me years to find out what works for me, and even then, I kept experimenting. I eventually circled back. But what I like, many don't. Still your night sights may be a bit on the big side for competition.

Are you shooting idpa or uspsa? What class are you looking to shoot in?

I shoot my 34 in idpa ssp and uspsa production.
I'm running a factory trigger with ghost connector and different springs. The pull weight is at 2.5 lbs which took a min to get used too. 13lb recoil spring and s.s. Guide rod.
Dawson sights. All parts polished .

Oh and a wheaton arms match grade barrel.

I make weight and fit in the box. Shoots great.

Ghost rings are not legal in IDPA and would throw you into Open Division for USPSA.

Not to mention Unlimited in GSSF. I would look into Sevigny Competition sights, I run them and love them. With my ammo my POI is POA at 25 yrds.

do you use a dual spring set up, or just the one 13 pound spring?
