    Hi all

I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. Here we have to apply for a license to pocess a firearm. I recently bought a Glock 34 to use in IDPA. What makes the Glock 34 an ideal sporting firearm? What are the differences between the G34 and the G17? I need this information to motivate my application for a firearm license. Any info whould be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards
    Nico

The slide and barrel are 3/4" longer for better target accuracy or whatever you think a longer barrel may do fo you. They come with adjustable or "target" sights as you can tell the local constabulary as opposed to the G17 coming with "combat" sights. If you can get either, either will be fine for IDPA
