So I jut bought a barrel off of here (OEM Glock 29 barrel) to convert my G30sf to a 10mm.

I am new to this process, but have read that the OEM 29 barrel works as long as you “modify” the extractor.

What is the best way to approach this process? Get a G29 extractor?

Don't know about running the OEM barrel, but I had a storm lake 10mm conversion in the G30 I used to have. I left the .45 parts in there. Couple hundred rounds no issues with extraction.

I have read from some members here in threads past that the OEM barrel will work provided the extractor is functioning effectively.

Converting the Glock 30 to 10mm Caliber​

If your stock 45ACP extractor doesn't function satisfactorily in 10mm service, I've had good results with the modification suggested by KKM explained in the post.
