I ordered the Novak LoMount rear sight for my G30. The part number is Novak DCR 10. When I received it in the mail it looked a bit small for my G30 slide. I re-checked the MidwayUSA site and it says it will fit all GLOCK models. Is this true?

Usually, with the G21/G20, the sights are taller. I don't know if it is a caliber thing that would transfer over to the G30 or not. It may have to do with the larger slide or something. I've always been curious about the reason behind the taller sights.

I checked Ameriglo's sight and they indicate that the following models have taller sights: 20,21,29,30,31,32,33,36

I assume it has to do with the caliber.

The Novak rear sight should just fine on your G30, the possible problem is matching it with the correct height front sight.

All Glock made front sights are the same height and they use rear sights of differing height as needed such as the one step higher (6.5mm vs 6.1mm) rear sight on the G21 and G30.

What front sight do you have?
