I did a quick search and couldn't find an answer to this.

I bought a box of Hornady TAP .45 Auto +P 230gr for my Glock 30. I haven't shot any of it yet because I've never run +P through my gun and just wanted to be safe not sorry by asking first.

Is this an ok load to put through my Glock?

You're fine with +P rounds in your G30. I carry a G30 and my SD rounds are Corbon 185gr +P rounds. It's a heavier kick with +P rounds and a brighter flash but your G30 will shoot em with ease.

If you're going to be using that Hornady TAP .45 Auto +P as your SD rounds, get out to the range and shoot a box or two of that ammo. You want to get used to the feel of shooting a +P round. It's a little different.

I usually carry 200+P Gold Dots in my G30.
