I currently have a G19c that I carry everyday. I am looking for somthing a little easier to conceal and more knock down power than the 9mm. Wich has more stopping power the 10mm or .45(same ammo). Any other info on either would be great.
    Thanks

No such thing as "Knockdown Power"

Your 19 will work fine if you do your part. Load it with some good +P+ 115 or 127 gr bullets and practice practice practice.

If you still feel you must upgrade, the .45 is rated higher for one shot stops than the 10 mm is. Besides that .45 ammo is easier to find and cheaper.

Neither the 29 or 30 is going to be much easier to conceal than your G19. You may want to consider the G36.

Your G19 is a pretty good pistol, if I had full capacity mags, would just use a quality round, and might buy a second G19. www.ammolab.com has some good info that might help. Both the G30 & G29 have strong points. Both pistols are about the same size as your G19. The G30 uses .45 ACP which certainly works well and probably costs less than the 10MM ammo. The G29's 10MM round should be pretty similiar to the .41 Magnum revolver round, and has much less recoil out of the G29. Any of these pistols would be a good choice. ;c

I've owned the G19, G30 and G29. I like them all but prefer the G29. Now that full power (as it was originally intended) ammo is available instead of just the watered down factory stuff, the 10mm is showing it's potential. 180 grain bullets out of a G29 at 1250. Pretty hard to beat.

If you don't reload, I'd go with the G30. If you reload the G29 would be real tempting.

Your g19c is easier to conceal than the 30/29. I would go with the G27 in 40 caliber. I do own a g29 but don't carry it for self defense. Since you want a 45 or 10 that is thicker and heavier than your 19 I would go for the 36 its thinner than the 30 but only holds 6 rounds. Quote I am looking for somthing a little easier to conceal and more knock down power. Quote

I think the question was between a G29 or a G30. Where did the 26 and 27 come from?

Between the two, my humble opinion is a 30. You really can't go wrong with one!

I would go G29, easy to convert to the .40 or .357sig with a barrel swap. 3 guns in one is pretty nice.

As for ammo price, the 10mm is not much more than .45, and sometimes cheaper. Although I will agree 10 is not always as easy to find...depending on location.

I carry the 29, or a Delta Elite. I do not find the thickness of the 29 a problem.

29 for all the reasons above. If the mag ban sunsets, the 29 will hold more rds.

    Between the 29 and the 30 I'd go with the 36 ;f
