    Hi all, I'm going to buy a 29 to go with my 20 and I have a mag. question. Coul I remove my G30 mag. factory baseplate and use it on my 29 mags? I think the mags are very similair in size and I love the factory plates on the 30 mags. I also have several mags I would use for spare parts. Any info? Thanks!

    PS. If I get the 29, that would complete my collection!
    9mm =19 and 26
    .45 =21 and 30
    10mm=20 and 29

    Big and small of all my favorite calibers.

    If you are talking about the 10 round G30 mag baseplate, the answer is NO. The mag body of a 10 round G30 mag is longer than the G29 mag (9 round G30 mag tube is same length). The 10 round G30 mag baseplate is not really an extension but more of a spacer sleeve, as it fits around the outside portion of the bottom of the mag.
