Aside from chopping up a Glock 20, is there a way to do this?
nope no less a new locking block can be made for the G29 to fit the different lugs on the 20 barrel (im looking into abut the same thing cause i want a 21 barrel in my g36)
Do you know about the aftermarket extended length G29 barrels? Up to 4.5" from a USA manufacturer and up to 6.02" imported are available. For comparison, the G20 factory barrel is 4.61"
Yes but to say, to me anyway, that those look tacky is a vast understatement. I don't want the barrel to protrude past the end of the slide, hence my curiosity on the G20 slide/barrel.
i can sure understand that. i wander if a S type slide in 20 length would be the same weight as a stock G29 slide givign the shooter about the same recoil feel
Who makes/sells the 6.02'' barrel for g29?
Check out IGB Austria. They list G29 barrels (10mm/40S&W/357SIG) in extended lengths (96-153mm) in their product list.

I am nearly positive that lone wolf sells the barrel and recoild spring spacer needed to do this.
Send the G20 to CBC and have them cut it down to accept G29 mags. My did this to his G21 to hold G30 mags and it's a great carry gun.
