I own a 26 and a 23, never owned a 27. My buddy has a 27, I’ve seriously seen him put 10k rounds through it without a single malfunction, heck I bet I’ve put a grand through it myself.

The 26 and 27 both are just flat out incredible little pistols, period!

I’m definitely a Model 27 fan. Have a Gen 3, 4, and 5. Have the most rounds through the Gen4…and it’s my favorite. I haven’t shot the Gen 5 enough yet.

Still, I’ve been thinking I should have got the G27, maybe a 9mm conversion barrel. Have the best of both worlds.

amd65 over the years I've had the G27 I did get a threaded 9mm barrel and a .357 SIG barrel for it. ... 3 times the fun!

The 27 and 23 gen5's are my favorite carry guns. I'm thinking about getting the tungsten guide rods.

I don't carry mine much now. I am confident in the 9mm ammo in the G43X but I have to admit that I am still a little biased toward the ammo choices for my G27, namely 165 gr Ranger T and 180 gr HST.

Had a short session at the outdoor range this morning.. went with my buddy to sight in his new rifle ..I Kodi nox took only one pistol, my 27
Only bout 50 rounds.. mentioned it was short
Probably my favorite carry gun .. first I have shot it in a while.. I have neuropathy in both hands and forearms ( spinal cord pressure)
But I did extremely well ( for me)

Carried the same G27 on my side for 24 years on duty (plain clothed) prior to us switching to 9mm and .45. Still have it as it was my personally owned authorized for carry gun. Still have it, always will. That lil G27 has never let me down!

I just sold my Gen 3 G27 to a friend of mine. He likes the finger grooves. Now I'm looking forward to when I can pick up a Gen 5.
