I believe it. The G27 is near "perfection" as people here would say. I wouldn't ever compare these two.
They're both great guns. I think the Springfield is slightly bigger and quite a bit heavier. However, you have to hold them both and determine that way which is the best fit.
+1. You'll likely receive several similar responses since we're on a Glock site. Sounds like you already have your mind made up and the G27 IS hard to beat!
They are two significantly different guns and I am not sure you can compare them. I have never shot the 40 version of the springer but the EMP is a superb gun. A friend had one which experienced some initial problems but Springfield fixed it and it ran like a top. I had a 27, it was a pig. It was not particularly reliable. I am not a fan of the forty I guess. MF
In the opinion of XDTalk.com, get the XD. IMO, get the Glock: Why Glock. That said, I'd get the Glock 26: Citizen: Caliber Acedemic?.
I love my 27! I would recommend it over the xd. I like the little S&W over the xd as well. I do like the larger xd's ok, but just don't care for their little ones.
G27 for me. ive owned ALOT of pistols in my short 25 yrs on this earth and the G27 just works for me. alot of firepower in a sub-compact. whats not to love?
G-27 = 10 rounds feeds anything. SA Micro 6-7 rounds will be as picky in feeding as any other 1911 and is heavier than the Glock by several oz.
If I was walking down a dark alley... Glock If I was showing off at the range... 1911 No offense 1911 guys. Just how I feel.
