I read in another post that there is a certain serial # range that AFTER that # is OK to do the 357 conversion.Someone said it was CFFXXX. They were talking about glock 35, but is this also supposed to apply to the subcompacts as well? There definitely were 2nd generation framed 31s but the 27 and 33 frames were the same( I THOUGHT)until the later ones added the finger groove checkering.I have a CFR prefix 33 (new in 1998) that does not have finger groove checkering.I have a BULXXX series 27(new in 1996) and a Glock factory 33 barrel. Is there supposed to be a problem with this. The frames appear to be identical. Thanks for any insight. CRUEL HAND LUKE

If you are worried about it just call up glock to be sure(770)432-1202

I would say it should be fine.
I have seen a few of the older G27's with G33 barrels in them without the first problem.
For the most part any glock with 3 pins in the frame are good to go.
