I carry my 26 with the 19/XGrip spare mag. The only thing I don't like about it is that, when shooting it, I can feel the XGrip move slightly. There's no question that I'm holding a 2 piece grip. It doesn't affect my accuracy though, so no harm no foul. I don't have that issue at all with the 12 round OEM mag, but 3 fewer rounds.

When carrying in my front pocket I don't keep a round in the chamber.

I keep it unchambered in my front pocket; however, I would like to carry chambered and that would require a good holster. My problem is that I'm a little overweight and I don't think a holster would work out for me. Any recommendations?

No it is not. The 26 is the most versatile in a small package. The 43 is the best carry gun as of now. I have both.

Carry G26 with factory 10 round magazine - two spare magazines on the belt can either be 12 round factory or G15 factory magazines ... All loaded with standard pressure HTS 124 gr.

I just got rid of the 43. I hadnt carried it in years. If I could carry the 43 then I could carry the 26. With a spare G17 mag I am carrying 28 rounds of 9mm. I'd need to carry 4 spare G43 mags to beat that capacity.

If I can’t make a g26 work it’s usually from lack of effort. I prefer to carry a 19/23 but a 26/27 is second. The third place option is a j frame smith but that’s only when I’m needing a BUG and can’t pocket carry the 26. When I am hosting a regional meeting I carry a j frame and leave the 19/26 in the car as I CANT have the big wigs seeing me print.

Just got rid of my G43X today....traded it +$20 for a nice Gen 5 G26 with Ameriglo night sights....no visible wear except slight wear on barrel..... still had a G26 holster tucked away.....I'll alternate between my G43 and G26 for EDC....

Factory 12 round mag just delivered, feels a lot better than the 15 round G19 mag with the Promag sleeve. I am looking forward to seeing how it feels at the range tomorrow.

The G26 is among the most accurate and easy to shoot of the Glock pistols.

In 1995, the Texas Legislature approved a Concealed Handgun License (CHL).

My wife and I enrolled in the first available concealed carry course we could find.

I had (and still have) a Glock 26 that each of us used to qualify for our CHL license.

The G26 was the first semi-auto pistol my wife had ever fired and she fired it for the very first time when she qualified for her CHL. Her score was one of the best in the class.

She had previously fired a S&W .38 revolver but she decided on the G26 because its 10-round magazine made it more appropriate for the course of fire required for the CHL.

She has since continued with the G26 and continues to be a good shot.

Went to the range to sight in my Holosun on my G45....while there I couldn't resist pulling out my G26.5 ...and put 10 rounds into a 2" group at 10 yards... something I could never do with my 43, 43X or 48....at 15 yds or less, my 26.5 is as accurate as my 17,19 or 45. My 26 is a keeper...and I'm carrying it when I'm not carrying my G43...

The G19, G33, and G23 are great guns to shoot but not so great for comfortable IWB carry.

I prefer single stacks for IWB carry.

Unfortunately, the G30SF and G36 fit my hand much better that the G26. Even with the magazine extensions, which pinch BTW, I cannot hold the G26 comfortably. I can shoot it okay, but it is way down on my list of favorite guns.

It is assigned to a dark part of the safe and sees light maybe once a year when I take it to a GSSF match. Unfortunately I purchased a dozen mags for shooting at matches. Fortunately they are perfect for my Ruger PC9.

    To each his own.

I sold my Lc9 to buy a different pistol, it was a mistake that I regretted and have since corrected with the purchase of my new Lc9s (about a year ago) which is the best concealed Carry gun ever.... followed very closely by the XDs 45 (for those heavier days) if you don’t agree with me, well then you are just plain wrong...:notlistening:

My G26.5 is, without a doubt, the best carry pistol I've ever owned, but it is no longer my EDC. I'll be 66 in a week and a half, and the arthritis in my hands has gotten to the point where even though I'm still more accurate with it than any other of my carry guns, shooting it is no longer any bit of a good time. My G48 is now my primary 9, but the move down to .380 has begun.

Glock's model 26 third generation pistol is, has been and will continue to be my only carry handgun.
