I need some advice, please. An acquaintance is offering to sell me a second-hand, supposedly less than 200 rounds fired Glock 26 (serial number CVY-***), which I plan to use as a backup carry gun. Upon inspection, I discovered that the front part of the frame in front of the locking lugs has a semi-circular band of metal showing through the polymer. Please refer to the area indicated by the arrows in the first attached photo. When I compared it with my Glock 19, I didn't see this band of metal (see second attached photo). Is this an indication of a defective frame, or a frame that has seen some wear and tear, or is this a normal view of the innards of a 1998-99 era Glock 26?
