Looking for suggestions... I purchased a 26.6 over the weekend and want to hear suggestions on night sights. I have a brand new set of Trijicon HD-XR sights that I purchased a year ago still in the packaged, but I really like the profile of the Ameriglo agent and spartan sights. I have Spartans on a 19.4.

What do you all prefer and is it worth buying a brand set of sights?

Side by side I prefer the HDs, but I don’t like the “cover the target” poi they provide

I run the 10/45 version HDs on my 9mm, they are the exact same as the 9/40/357 except the front is .015 shorter raising POI 2”

That provides me a blade to blade hold

XS 24/7 big dot. Fast acquisition. Put dot on target and rear post follows. Can also get small front sight for target shooting.[IMG][IMG]

Can't really go wrong with Trijicon or Ameriglo.

Does your slide sit higher off the frame on the left side? Sure looks like it in those photos. Maybe it's just the angle of the shot.

NO, It's the angle of the picture. Thanks

HDs are great but I like the Agent rear profile a little better. I find the Agent to have less sharp edges therefore more comfortable and easier on cover garments.

I have migrated back to Glock OEM night sights on all my Glock carry guns. I have found I shoot them as well as any other NS I have tried and you can't beat the deal.

With my poor vision, contacts and bi focals at same time combined with old age, I had to consider other options. For G26 EDC urban the XS 24/7 seems to work well. Easy to conceal.
I do use my Delta Point Pro for backwoods.

I don't think so. They will be half as bright in about 12 years. That may seem like a long time, but it will zip by quickly and then you don't have night sights anymore. To each his own, but I have so many dead night sights on so many guns that to me its just not worth it.

XS Big Dots are near perfect on a fighting pistol.

I have done black Warren Tactical rears and white dot tritium fronts on my Glocks for years. I recently tried black Wilson rears and like them, too.

Not the best photo but I also really like the XS Big Dot Sights ( have them on two or my Carry Firearms.). They also make the F8. Design. I’d like to try them out maybe on my G19

My 26 came with Ameriglo night sights (right) the 19 has Night Fision (left) I can recommend either. They both have yellow front sights and blacked out rears. Both very nice sights. IMG_1868.jpg

Are Night Fision really that much brighter?

I have grown quite fond of the Ameriglo Bold/Spartan/Agent sights. They are (relatively) inexpensive, the back sight doesn’t have sharp edges to cut you or your clothes, and the big orange front sight really sets up nicely for me.

The AmeriGlo’s on the new Glocks are nice. I also just got a set of AmeriGlo pro Idot for my G30 and I really like them too.
