Hello Guys. Yesterday I shot about 30 rounds of Federal ammo through my Glock 24C yesterday and when I got home to clean the gun, I noticed some grey residue or something on the right side on the lightening cut. It's only on one side and seems to not want to come off. Has anyone else had any experiences with this? If for some reason the exhaust from the ported barrel burned off the tenifer coating is there a way to fix this or is it just something coating it? Maybe I should just get a non-ported barrel. Thanks!

Also, the front sight was dirty as hell and I chipped the cheap white paint they use when trying to clean it. Any recommendations for aftermarket Glock sights?

The grey residue is the result of the ports diverting gas in that direction. It cleans right up.
The ports will always blacken the front sight. Coat it if you like but in 5 shots or less it gonna be black again.
