I am looking for either a Glock 24 or Glock 35. What is the difference in these two guns? Is one better than the other? Why does Glock two such similar guns?

The gun would be used for fun at the range.

The 24 isn't made any more, it was replaced with the 35. The 24 has a slightly longer slide and barrel than the 35 and so the sight radius is a tad longer. You can still put a G24 together if you want, you just buy the upper and put it on a G22 or G35 lower. That's what I did. Would I do it again? probably not, the cost for building it is far more than the G35 and for minimal advantage if any. Buy the 35.

    They are no more similar than any other two Glocks. A G23 is 3/4in shorter than a G22. A G35 is 3/4 inch longer than a G22. A G24 is 3/4 inch longer than a G35.
