Glock 24 Popularity?

I've got a Glock 24 and I've noticed that it is not a very popular model. Is there a reason? I bought it for the 6" barrel. It also has a good slide release and came with adjustable sites which I haven't even attempted to adjust yet.

It is so unpopular that you should sell it right away (to me)!

From what I understand, Glock produces the G24 in limited runs. I think that Glock could sell a ton of them, but it may take away from the G35 sales. Just my $.02.
I'm actually happy with it generally other than it is a little big and my friends complain that I hit the bullseye more often because I have an unfair advantage. (Bigger is better) I tried a Sig 1911 and it is much more accurate at 25 yds than the 24 for some reason. I also bought a 9mm conversion barrel for it but haven't test it much.

I did get the Glock 27 but there is no comparison in accuracy (at least for me)

I think I'll keep it.
Unless you are shooting USPA or IDPA, there is not much demand for a 6" gun. And last time I checked the 24 is not an approved gun for USPSA. A local dealer has had one for months and everytime I look at it, I just can't bring myself to buy it becasue of the competition thing. I am going to hold out for a 35.
Well I just got through shooting over 100 40 cal rounds between the Glock 24 and my little Glock 27. I also switched barrels on the 24 and fired 9mm. Accuracy was about the same. I can understand why the 24 being big but it shoots great.

Now as for the Glock 27, I think I'm pretty much done with it. Don't like the accuracy or the feel. I even added some Pearce extensions but I just don't like it for some reason. So I'm keeping the 24, dumping the 27 and looking for something else. A friend has a Glock 20. Maybe he will trade for the Glock 27 plus some cash.
Please excuse my ignorance, but I don't see a G 24 listed on glock.com???
It's borderline rare, which I think is why it's not super popular.
I looked at getting one and I think the deciding factor for me was the cost of 40 S&W relative to 9mm. Since it's a target gun, and I was going to put a lot of round through whatever I got, cost of ammo was the deciding factor. I ultimately went with a 34.

The 24 is too big for IDPA, not legal, can't be used....ever. MIght also be too big for USPSA PRoduction, but, I'm sure it can be used for Limited/L-10
I don't even know how to trade with online customers so I usually just trade at a store or sell locally. I just sold a glock 19 to a guy local and I had to do all the Maryland paperwork and meet him at a MD State Barracks for the paperwork. didn't have to do the shell because it had already been done from my original purchase. As for price I'm thinking 400-450? Also guns are pretty easy to sell or trade especially Glocks. The Kimbers for 1200-1500 just sit there.

How much for the 27?

You also won't see the 17L, 21sf, 30sf, 20sf, 29sf, 17 RTF2, 22 RTF2, or any of the "OD" models. Sorry if I missed any. GLOCK doesn't spend much time on their website it seems.

The G24 is a .40 with a 6 inch barrel.

Thanks for the reply. If you have a good relationship with a gun shop they may send it to my FFL for a slight charge, but most of the gun shops charge a lot for their time. I found something that I liked while visiting CA and the gun shop wanted $150.00 just to ship it to my NV FFL. I'm not saying that they should not get paid something for their trouble, but some want a gallon of blood just to ship anything.
