I really dont understand why everyone loves the 19X, same length barrel but a longer grip? Just seems to be harder to conceal!

I have a simple answer to all the naysayers. If you don't like the pistol, don't buy one. What I don't understand is the I'm right you're wrong mentality.:crying:

And if you don't like the post, ignore it. See how that works?

There you went and did it, I'm gonna "need" another Glock now, just when I thought it was safe to go back to collecting S&W wheel guns.

PS: I really like my 19X

Oh don't worry I definitely won't! It just seems that people don't know why they like it, if you going to EDC it why not just get a 17? Or if you're going to shoot it competitively why not just get a 17? I'm not knocking people for liking it, I just never get a solid answer when asking why. I always get responses like yours, if you don't like it don't buy it....I'm still searching for someone to do better then that:crying:

To me the 19x has great balance. It feels great in my hand and I love the color. It's very accurate. It took a chance on it and wasn't disappointed. I owned a gen2 19 decades ago and I never was good with it. If a 23x comes out I will buy it.

Very much enjoy our new G19X (except for the color). While we are in the "X business," let's have a run of G21X as well.

    We trudge on (hopefully).

There is no doubt that it is harder to conceal than a regular 19. Anyone who would deny that is a fool. When I first read about it I said to myself..."this makes no sense at all". Put it out of my mind. Long story short. I was at my local dealer and the sales girl had one on her hip. I asked to see it and naturally she obliged. Well I loved the balance and feel of it. Having said that I have not yet purchased one but I do see one in my future. It feels fantastic in the hand and points naturally.

Two guns on my list, Glock 19x and of course Sig 365 when the bugs get ironed out.

You can’t give away a regular 23 so yeah, I’d say wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which one gets full first.

People who want them. Not sure who they are. But I believe they can be ground off quite easily if that is what is what stops you from purchasing one and you like everything else about it..

Seems doubtful there will be much priority for new 40cal models given the recent stampede from 40cal to 9mm driven by the FBI decision. I'm not saying that's right because I also like 40cal (and also 357sig and 10mm). It's just the simple reality that the market is not demanding 40cal like they used to when every LE agency was using them.

Everyone doesn't. But for those who do, its a burning, insatiable hunger for anything new from Glock, which is was innovative in 1983 but has been in stasis ever since. Failed MHS entry? Yes please! We'll take it!

Or, you can make your own for $10.
