What do you guys think about the carbon fiber finish that is on some of the glocks from a few years back? I am looking at a used version and it looks like we are coming to terms in the trade. How does the finish hold up? Is there any value in the collectability of this version or is it just oh hum? Any input would be appreciated.

Has anyone even seen the carbon fiber finished Glocks or is it likely that this is a home made paint job/finish?

    It's just an aftermarket coating.

Have no idea how durable it is.

Not that durable. There is a guy at the gunshow who has a few of these for sale and on one of them, the finish is chipping off. Looks bad.

Plus the factory "Black" or "OD Green" frame looks cooler

i know this thread is a little old, but i just came across it and felt like i could weigh in. i have a 23 w/a cf frame. it's not some cheap wrap, looks nothing like the one pictured and doesn't flake or peel. i bought it new at a gun/pawn shop just outside the base almost 7yrs ago and have never seen another like it except in 1 movie(Faster, w/the Rock and Billy Bob Thorton). i've searched online, gun shows, no one has seen one like it...it's always made me curious to how many others were made like it and where they are.
