Well, based on the research project, it appears to be the spring of 2008....

Are you in the US? I see the LVT entry posted was bought in Europe:

LVN - G-17L - January 2008 - 3rd Gen. - red label, 2 17 rnd. mags, black frame stamped "GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA." only.
LVP - G-17L - February 2008 - 3rd Gen. - red label, 2 17-rd mags, adjustable rear sights, extended slide release, extended mag release, non-ported barrel, top cutout on slide.
LVT - G-17C - - - purchased 2008/07 (Europe)
LVU - G-17 - March 2008 - 3rd Gen. - Blue Label w/ Trijicon NS.
LVV - G-17 - April 2008 - - Red label, 2 ambi 17rd mags, Glock night sights
LVW - G-19 - January 2008 - 3rd Gen. - 2 hi-cap magazines, Red label
LVX - G-19 - February 2008 - 3rd Gen. - Red Label, 15rd Mags, Adjustable Sights
LVX - G-19 - March 2008 - 3rd Gen. - Blue Label, 3 15rd Mags, Trijicon night sights
LVY - G-19 - February 2008 - 3rd Gen. - Black frame, Red Label

If you are in the US, is there a small envelope in the box that contains fired cases? What's the date on the envelope?

:patriot:
Butch's assessment should be pretty close because my 27 with LYD Prefix has a cartridge case collection date of 03/03/08 and I purchased it in Oct. of 2008.
5/11/09 and there was two aluminum spent shells in the sealed envelope. i didnt think to look at that..
thanks

try getting one of those in mass. hehe

That's weird, intuitively it would seem like LV should have predated LY. Anyway congrats on your new G23.
