I went shooting the other day. Havent been for about a year or so... Anyways when I am shooting with a particular Hi Cap Mag the slide doesnt lock open when the last round is shot every time.... I dont remeber this happening before.... The slide locks open with my other Hi cap and LOW-Cap mags.. Anyone ever have this problem before? or know how to fix it?

    Many Thanks,

    George

Is the mag pushing up on the slide release when you insert it?

Inspect and replace the mag spring and follower. The follower could be worn or the spring could be worn and not pushing the follower up to lock the slide.

The mag/follower does not push the slide release up far enough..

The follower is marked with the number 5

After comparing follwers the my OTHER Hicap that WORKS GOOD.. it is numbered 1028

Also the GOOD mags follower has a taller ramp where it touches the slide release..

IT looks like the follower is pushing all the way up and nut stuck down...

I bought these mags used... Do I have the wrong follower?

Don't think you have the wrong followers, but if you where experimentive (sp?), you could replace the spring from the good hi-cap into the bad one to rule out the spring is the root cause.

If they are used, it wouldn't hurt you to invest some $$ in glockmeister or topglock and replace the springs & followers with the extend power-spring and updated followers.
