    Hi all,

I just picked up a G23 gen 2 (Prefix AYT) with the non-LCI extractor. I'm picking up some spare springs/ parts and I was wondering if "Extractor 40 - non-LCI for older slide with 90 degree ejection port" is the replacement extractor I need. Thanks!

I am anxious to here the fix. I had one that was so problematic I sold it after several attempts to fix.

It should be. That's the one my AGT prefix uses. Just look at the ejection port shape and make sure it's 90* and not angled back more like the newer ones (15* I believe).

BTW, a newer LCI 15* extractor will work as long as you get the corresponding spring loaded bearing. It just looks a bit goofy because of the cutout differences.

The orignal extractor to that gun was a machined extractor, which at this point in time are difficult to locate if not impossible. SJ 40

The original extractor in the gun looks fine. I will pick up a 15* LCI and bearing for a spare.
    Thanks for the education everybody!

I went to 200K on my old G17 before it needed a new extractor.
