Don't know how many rounds passed thru in a year and a half, but I'd check the recoil spring first.

Try a Glock OEM first, unless you're trying to tune for a specific load. In that case a non-captured rod and spring might suit you best. Wolff lists stock for the G23 as 18 lbs.
