I understand that by replacing the barrel in a 23 with one from a 32 you can fire .357 Sig ammo from your 23 (or vice versa). Can this be done with a 2nd generation weapon?

I just got a .357Sig barrel for my 23s. Serial numbers for the ones I was gonna put them in are Axxxx and Bxxxx.

What is different in the Cxxxx series?

[edit] These are just to screw around with and possibly shoot GSSF for my young'un who doesn't like the recoil of the .40. Not for serious shooting[/edit]
