I own both a Glock 23 and a Glock 35. I have Dawson Precision Sites on both of them. On the Glock 35 I can consistently get a 2" group at 25 yards but with the Glock 23 I seem to not be able to manage any better than a 4" group and that is shooting using a bench rest.

I am using Federal Hydra Shocks 165gr or Federal American Eagle 165gr. I know the G35 is going to always be more accurate than the G23 but it just seems I should be able to manage better group at 25 yards with the G23. At 15 yards I can manager a 2" group with the G23.

Anyone have any thoughts, could it be the ammo I am using? Please see attached photo of my 10 shot grouping with the G23 at 25 yards. Note that each square on the target is 1" x 1"

Well your 35 has a 3 1/2 lb connetor, does you 23 have the same or is it a 5 lb ? that can make the diffrence, you can shoot the same load out of both guns but the trigger pull can make the diff in your groups, we need more info.

IT is a 5lb connector that comes standard on the G23. The only modifications I have done was the new Dawson sites.

Where is the cheapest place to buy 3.5lb connectors? Are they easy to install?

Try some 180gr loads. Some 23s love them.

I will try the 180gr. I hope it is the Ammo I am using and not the shooter. July 4th weekend I will try it out.

I will let y'all know how it goes. Does anyone have the BarSto Barrel?

I thought i had the same problems as you but after I did the few things I read in the boards here my 21 and 23 are dead nuts accurate at 25yds
groups inside a 4 inch shoot and see dot using Speed Gold Dots
they are more accurate than the regular plinking ammo i had used
I did the usual 3.5lb trigger group and the usual extended releases and stuff
    and the polished parts
    smooth and clean
    point and shoot accuracy
