I picked up a NIB Glock 22 rtf2 a week ago from gunbroker. I got a hell of a deal on her. $439 shipped plus $37 ffl transfer fee. Her test fire date is 3/16/09. Came with factory night sights and two 15 round mags. I had one just like her back in 2010 but sold her and have been looking for one for a good price and this one popped up . Guy on gb said she’s been in his safe since 2009 . Night sights still glow. I posted this earlier in the week but in the wrong sub so I’m posting it in the general Glock forum as requested.

I was issued one for qualification last year, and really liked the way it felt. I found one as a police trade-in back the end of March at a very nice price, and a little history... manuals and all were still sealed in the envelopes, "LE Only" magazines, and still had the hand receipt in there where it was issued to an Ascension Parish deputy back in December 2010. night sights still glow, and it is a great shooter. I already had a Gen 4 22, but this one is definitely a keeper ;-)

Looks great! I've been resisting one in the local stores consignment cabinet as it is priced a bit high. Congrats on your new gun!

    One of my favorite Glocks.

I have had 3, I am in 'need' of another.

Must be practically new in box.

The rtf2 feel is definitely my favorite Glock grip . This had all the normal Glock stuff in the box; unopened test round envelope, lock and the usual stuff . It’s even the original red label box with matching serial number. I already had 3 leo/govt mags already so that was good too.

If its that date its tenifer finish. Thats near the end of tenifer finishes. My22 rtf2 has frying pan looking finish. Mines from that era too. Its 08 or 09 it was a range gun. It cleaned up to like new no scratches at all. Only wear from the outside is the loaded chamber indicater has finish wear on it. Grips are perfect too. I dont think mine was a range gun long? Its just too nice. This frame texture is my favorite. Just feels perfect to me.

The dealer I bought it from said it was the more sought after finish so I’m guessing it’s the tenifer finish.

I bought 2 of these and to my surprise they suck. Machining seems off? Trigger is 2 piece with a tiny screw to hold the disconnect.
It doesn't fit with the bar installed. Picture shows the gap.
I'm so po'd. One would think they would test the product before selling? Also check the crazy angle of the trigger.
    Ok rant over.[IMG][IMG]

That's a great deal. I got a almost mint one a few years ago. Definitely one of my favorite Glocks. Grip is great.

I am interested in one of these. I was curious what generation they are?
I have a G22.3, and a LWD drop in .357sig barrel. Was curious if the drop in would work on one of these as well?

Congrats, I got this one from a Hendricks County (IN) Deputy last spring for $300, 3 LE Mags, but a non matching box, and he said he got it from Recoil Gunworks.
A small scratch on the right side grip, no one knows is there but me, I cleaned it and put it in the safe, dunno why, but I have not fired it.
