I just got a FDE Gen 3 Glock 22 and I bought a Lone Wolf stainless 9mm conversion barrel for it.

They say you don't need to do any work to your Glock 22, just drop in the 9mm conversion barrel (use 9mm mags of course) and the gun is good to go as a 9mm. My only concern is the extractor on the Glock 9mm models are different than the .40/.357 Glocks. Does the straight extractor in the Glock 22 work ok when using 9mm with a 9mm conversion barrel?

Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks. I would assume it would be reliable for range use only.

Some people change the extractor but in my 10 years of experience with this all Ive every needed was the barrel and mag. Id only do the extractor change if you were having issues.

+1 on just barrel and mags.
I have 1000+ 9mm rounds through my conversion barrels
    without a single problem.

Why fix something that's not broken?
Plus If you do change the extractor,
then you can't go back to 40/357 with just a barrel and mag change.

I do that all the time at the range.
It's part of the sweetness of a convertible gun.
