10,00 rounds of S&B ammo broke my locking block, the gun still continued to fire. I have since stoped shooting it until the new locking block arrives. Glock will not send a locking block to a non Glock Armorer so I orderd one from Glockmiester.

Same type of failure the early IPSC boys were getting, but not til about 30,000 to 40,000 rounds. Have a better picture of the fracture?

    Spring upgrade in your future?

I've had a broken locking block but in a BNN series G23 after about 20 to 25 thousand rounds. My experience is that this sort of failure is not catastrophic as the weapon will usually stil function despite the break.

Glock will send you a new one.

    Best wishes,

I had to order a new locking block from Glockmiester, Glock wont send one to me. They said I have to be a Glock Armorer for them to send it to me. Thats ok, it should be here soon.
It seems that the few locking block failures are with the .40's only, is that true, or are all the calibers vulnerable?
